Prince Harry sizzles up Aussie GQ cover

A little over 20 years ago, his parents were caught using the media for things that ended up being disastrous for themselves, their marriage, their kids and the royal family. Fast forward 20 years into the future, and we have a very different face of the British monarchy in front of us. One that embraces the media and manipulates it to enhance their image rather than fall prey to its menacing, money making ways. Both Prince William and his brother Prince Harry have been hailed media darlings around the world and the royal duo use media outlets to further their grasp onto the minds of pop culture followers around the world.

Even though Prince Harry has been on magazine covers for all the wrong reasons lately, he has decided o turn over a new leaf in 2013 and boy has he done it with a bang! Yes, ladies (and few of you gents as well!), the dapper prince has posed for a shouldering cover and interview and photoshoot combo for the Australian edition of the GQ magazine. Even though the Royal Army captain isn’t posing in the buff or anything on the cover, the brooding look he has on this face for the cover shot is sure to make even his worst critics melt into putty.

Set to be featured on the cover of the April 2013 issue of the magazine, the shot is one that the prince posed for deliberately which is a rarity for British royals usually left reeling by paps snapping up unprompted shots of them. However, since the prince has already posed for the British edition of the magazine in 2011, he probably wasn’t too reluctant to have them shoot him again. The stunning cover shot is accompanied with the lines “Prince Harry: Playboy. Warlord. Role Model.” which really means that the interview inside probably doesn’t pull any punches either.
