She broke this news to the world on October 7, 2011. The baby has been named Gemma Rose Davis. Kristin Davis is single and is extremely excited at the responsibilities ahead of her. In interviews following the adoption through a domestic adoption agency, she shared that this was something that she had wanted for a very long time, and that having this wish come true was more gratifying than she had imagined. She described herself as feeling blessed.
